Co-Sponsorships
Program Board uses the studentorgs.gwu.edu co-sponsorship system. Visit their website to submit a co-sponsorship application! What we will and will not co-sponsor: We will co-sponsor on an event by event basis and will: 1.) only cosponsor events that are tailored to the entire student body 2.) only cosponsor events that are of no cost to the student body 3.) only cosponsor events that do not conflict with other PB events. Different Types of Co-Sponsorships: 1.) Monetary: We will sometimes give dollar amounts to Student Groups. 2.) Standard Media Package: If an event has a high advertising cost PB will offer the use of its in-house production equipment to mitigate or in some cases completely erase the cost of advertisement. Groups being cosponsored are asked to provide their own graphics. 3.) Mutual Planning Co-sponsorship: If a student group approaches PB and wants to put on an event with more than enough time before the event, the group can approach individual chairs and put on an event together. This type of co-sponsorship involves a lot of pre planning and student groups are asked to bring the events to the individual chairs 8-10 weeks before the scheduled events. Ideas however are always welcome. Other Regulations or Constraints on Funding All Co-sponsorship applications are reviewed by the Executive Board of PB and are given approval only after the Exec Board has formally voted on the matter. The Executive Board reserves the right to allocate as much or as little as it deems necessary by the event while displaying the student body's best interests from an un-biased view.
