How do I get involved?
Get Involved Early, Get Involved Often The Program Board is run by students for students. We invite every member of the GWU community to get involved in Program Board, planning the events that they want to see on campus. We are what happens...and you can be too! If you want to get involved, join a committee by emailing the Committee Chairperson. During the year, each Committee will hold meetings open to the GWU student body, where they solicit ideas for events and look for volunteers. Helping out with a Program Board event is easy, and it often has surprising benefits -- like hanging out backstage with OK Go or getting free film tickets! Join A Committee Our popular Concerts and Films Committees always want to hear from student voices. Interested in the Arts? Perhaps Community Service? Maybe Cultural events are your passion, or maybe you love being near Capitol Hill and involved in Political Affairs. Whether you want to coordinate Graduate Affairs or plan Parties, there is a place for you on the Program Board. Your effort, dedication, and support helps us plan engaging, dynamic, and superb events. Become a Committee Chairperson Every year, some of our successful Committee Chairs say goodbye to GW and venture into the real world. Although we are sad to see them go, we are excited to welcome new members to Program Board! Every March, we will post applications online for new Committee Chairs. If you have been involved in Program Board as a committee member, or if you have volunteered at Program Board events and gotten to know the PB staff, make sure you apply for a position on the PB Executive Board.
