About the Committee: The Arts Committee is
dedicated to bringing art to GW's campus. We want to go beyond arts and
crafts and encompass culture, historical art, galleries, museums,
theater, music, dance, etc. In the past big events included Artsfest in
the Spring, Cafe Gelman around finals and for the first time last year
we had a student art gallery. The Arts Committee hopes to continue to
bring new and exciting events to GW's campus. If you like art in anyway
contact Amanda to
get involved. This committee is for both the artist and the person that has never
picked up a paintbrush!
About the Chair: Amanda Dachille is a junior majoring in International Affairs and minoring in
Sociocultural Anthropology. When she's not in D.C. you can find Amanda
in the City of Brotherly Love. She is Pi Beta Phi's
Vice President of Event Planning, a Community Building Community Guide,
and has participated in Alternative Spring Breaks to New Orleans and
Oaxaca, Mexico. During July Amanda studied Italian at the University of
Bologna.
