2009 Fall Film Series
Every semester, Program Board sponsors free screenings of the hottest Hollywood films before they reach DVD. In addition to a popular movie, screenings sometimes feature sponsored product demonstrations, raffles, and giveaways. Entry is GWorld+2.
Screenings are usually held on Wednesdays at 7pm on the Third Floor of the Marvin Center, in either the Continental Ballroom or the Amphitheatre. However, screening dates and times are subject to change. Sign up for the PB Happenings email newsletter to be notified of upcoming film screenings.
The 2009 Fall Film Series includes:
August 30: MOVIE ON THE YARD - STAR TREK
Bring a blanket and come to University Yard for a FREE screening of the hit 2009 movie, STAR TREK. This event is a part of SAC's Welcome Week. All GW students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend!

**Special Screening: Oct. 5th: THE FLYING SCISSORS
9:00PM in the Marvin Center Continental Ballroom
"THE FLYING SCISSORS" is a feature-length
mockumentary about the intense, grueling world of competitive "Rock,
Paper, Scissors." The film delves into the lives and daily routines of
a wide array of quirky characters who vie to be the best at this
unorthodox sport. Each competitor must balance the nuances of their
everyday life in hopes of becoming a "Rock, Paper, Scissors" champion.
